Privacy

Your timers run inside your browser. The times you set are not sent to us.

Saved on your device

TimerNook keeps a few settings in your browser's local storage: the alarm sound you picked, the volume and whether you turned on notifications. Clearing your browser data removes them. If you press Copy link, the link with your time is put on your clipboard; it is not sent anywhere.

Page counts without cookies

To see which timers people use, we count visits with Umami, an open-source analytics tool. It runs on our own self-hosted server. It sets no cookies. When a page loads, your browser sends Umami one small request with the page address (without any query string or # part), the page title, the site that linked you here (if any), your screen size and browser language. When a timer finishes, Umami gets one short event with the timer length in minutes; when you press Copy link, it gets one short event saying a link was copied. From those requests, Umami works out your browser, operating system, device type and approximate location (country, region and city). Your IP address is used for that lookup and is not stored. We don't sell or share the counts.

Notifications

If you tick "Notify me when time is up", your browser asks for permission and then shows a system notification when a timer ends. The notification is made by your browser on your device; nothing is sent to us.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like any web server, it keeps standard access logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for security and troubleshooting.

No accounts, no ads, no cookies

There is nothing to sign up for. TimerNook shows no ads today and sets no cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated first, and a consent choice will be shown where the law requires it.
