About TimerNook
TimerNook is a cosy corner of the web for timers: a plain countdown, common times like 5, 25 and 60 minutes, a visual classroom timer and a Christmas countdown. Everything runs in your browser and is free.
Who makes it
TimerNook is created by Saad Danish, who builds free, simple browser tools. Questions, bugs or timer ideas: hello@timernook.com.
What we care about
- Correct time. Timers read the device clock against a fixed end time, so background tabs don't drift.
- An alarm you notice. Five generated sounds plus a visual "Time is up" box and title change.
- Calm pages. Big numbers first, no pop-ups, no sign-up.
- Privacy. No cookies; see the privacy page.
Honest limits
- Closing the tab or the browser stops the timer.
- Phone browsers can pause a page when the screen locks, and an iPhone on silent can mute browser sound. Keep the screen on for important timers.
- TimerNook is not meant for safety-critical timing, such as medication or machinery.
